Name: PYT's Babe the Sheep Pig - An Autism/Sensory Friendly Performance
    Date: February 16, 2019
    Time: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM PST
    Event Description:

Presented by Peninsula Youth Theatre in association with MVCPA

Sponsored in part by The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC (CARD)

Saturday, February 16 at 5 pm

This sensory-friendly performance offers guests and families living with autism or other special needs an opportunity to enjoy "Stories on Stage" in a safe and accepting environment. An inclusive space is created with special considerations such as scaled-down production elements (lights, sound, etc.), extra wheelchair accommodations, and a quiet zone outside the performance space.

When a tiny piglet arrives at the Hogget Farm, he is mentored by a wise dog named Fly who shares the secrets of sheepherding with the young pig. Babe soon learns that, to his and to Farmer Hogget’s amazement, he has a unique gift for gently herding sheep. But will Babe succeed on the largest stage of all, the Grand Challenge Sheep Dog Trials? Or will he be laughed off the stage?

Please note: this performance is general admission seating, first come first served and wheelchair companion seats may be located next to or in some instances behind the designated wheelchair space.

The theater doors will open 45 minutes prior to the performance.

The Center has assembled a Pre-Visit Guide that will provide visuals to help familiarize patrons with the spaces and experiences they will encounter while attending this show.
