    MEDIA ALERT
    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mountain View CA (March 13, 2020) – Organizers of the Mountain View A la Carte & Art festival today released the following statement regarding the 2020 event:

"In light of ongoing developments resulting from the coronavirus, and after consulting with medical experts, city and county officials, the Mountain View A la Carte & Art festival is announcing today that the 2020 festival scheduled for May 2-3 has been cancelled. This decision was not made lightly knowing the festival's importance as a showcase event for downtown Mountain View as well as a fund-raiser for the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce. We are grateful for the tremendous public support of the festival over the past 24 years and the tireless efforts of our festival committee.  We look forward to returning in 2021."

The 2021 A la Carte & Art is scheduled to take place May 1-2.

In the bigger humanitarian picture, our good thoughts and prayers go out to all being impacted significantly by the unprecedented situation we’re experiencing. Collectively, let’s work through this and thoughtfully support each other with kindness in every way possible.
