  • Recognizing The Exceptional Leaders In Our Community: The Mountain View Chamber Of Commerce Honors Businesses and Nonprofit Volunteers

    Mountain View, CA. January 24, 2019 — The 24th Annual Celebration of Leaders Awards Dinner will be held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View at 6:00 pm on March 1, 2019.  This annual event recognizes and honors outstanding businesses and individuals for their professional and personal achievements, outstanding work and dedication to the community. This event will also include 8 local non-profits who will honor their Volunteers of the Year.

    This year’s award recipients are:

    • Outstanding Business: Young, Craig & Co., LLP

    • Outstanding Non Profit Organization: Community School of Music and Arts

    • Outstanding Business Person: Ken Rosenberg, Morgan Stanley

    Participating Non Profits honoring their Volunteer of the Year:

    • Community School of Music and Arts: Michael Couch

    • Community Services Agency: Cathy Lazarus

    • Friends of Stevens Creek Trail: Rhonda Farrar

    • KMVT 15: Dave Kocharhook

    • Leadership Mountain View: Lynne Hansen

    • Mountain View Firefighters Random Acts: Mike Quan

    • Mountain View Public Safety Foundation: Pete De La Ossa

    • WomenSV: Ruth Patrick

    Bruce Humphrey, President of the Chamber says, “Mountain View continues to grow and attract incredible companies and individual leaders who make amazing contributions to the unique diversity of our city.  At our upcoming Celebration of Leaders Awards, the Chamber will be recognizing outstanding businesses, nonprofits and individual leaders who excel in business. These award recipients also demonstrate, through their generosity and involvement, how much they care about our community. We also partner with local non profits to honor their Volunteer of the Year at this event.

    The criteria used in the selection process includes the success of the business being nominated, their level of participation in our community and their Chamber involvement.  Chamber membership is not a requirement to be nominated or honored.

    The presenting sponsor of this event is Google.
