Mountain View’s Environmental Sustainability Task Force is seeking innovative and actionable ideas from the community to improve environmental sustainability and reduce carbon emissions in the City. If you live, work, attend school, own a business, or otherwise have a significant connection to Mountain View, please join us! Students 13-17 years old welcome with an adult.

The City formed its second Environmental Sustainability Task Force in 2017 to analyze current sustainability efforts and make recommendations for how Mountain View can achieve its carbon reduction goals for 2020, 2025, and 2030. Due to Mountain View’s recent and rapid residential and commercial growth, the City has not met previous carbon reduction targets, and needs innovation and community support to meet future goals.
