    Name: Representation Matters Film Festival
    Date: September 23, 2022
    Time: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM PDT
    Event Description:
Join Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and Santa Clara County Parks (SCCP) as we co-host the Representation Matters Film Festival. The film program will feature stories about diversity in the outdoors. The festival will take place in person on Friday September 23 at Martial Cottle Park in San Jose starting at 6:30 P.M. The films are selected from the Wild & Scenic Film Festival library, and highlight stories about people with diverse experiences and identities in the outdoors. Film themes include finding belonging, recreation, activism, community, indigenous culture, and more. You can find a list of the films below. Festival viewers can expect to see award-winning environmentally inspired short films, and have the opportunity to learn more about POST’s work here on the Peninsula and in the South Bay. This is part of POST’s community event series. These events are open to the general public and POST donors alike, and we hope you will join us! We also curate a separate series of private events for our donor community. Find out more about how you can support POST. PLEASE NOTE: This is a free event and parking is limited. Sign up now and arrive early to guarantee a good parking and viewing spot.
